Game is stable, no hard crashes, freezes etc. I checked also punkbuster, no new update. Game was automatically updated by Origin. HD 5850, I5 750, 4 GB Ram (Patriot Viper SecMhz), MoBo (with Realtek onboard sound card) – MSI P55-GD 65.
Hope that there will be no more bad surprises from EA and Realtek/Punkbuster… He removed that crack and used other (loader by Diaz) and next he did the same steps like me. My friend had similar issues and he found info that Remove WAT crack on Win 7 causes those sound-loops on motherboards with Realtek (also on Bad Company 2 game). I tested it on 1000 tickets map and there was no crash (I played more than hour, previously on another map by 20 minutes on the same server) and today on typical conquest with 300 tickets.
Next I „connected” it with with Battlefield 3 (Add a Game) and updated to newest version for this game. I downloaded PB software (pbsetup – 827 kb) and I placed it in BF 3 game folder. I choose repair option with Battlefield 3 game (700 mb update was downloaded after origin was fixed) Ģ. I checked some threads on game forums about this issues and:ġ. Previously I wrote here that ending punkbuster processes will help and it was good solution to yesterday (), but since this day many people couldn’t play due to „game was disconnected” or „you were kicked from server”. If you have Realtek onboard sound card (like me in my mobo MSI P55-GD 65) and you had random crashes in multiplayer mode in this game (with this f*** sound-loop where you had to shut down your PC) – it’s fault of Realtek and/or Punkbuster. In my opinion sound-loop crashes were caused by Realtek onboard sound card because the same type of crashes I am having sometimes when I’m overclocking my I5 750 cpu (even from 2,6 to only 3,2 Ghz on all cores).
